This week we are learning about place value. WALT for this week is  identify place value of numbers up to 1000 and We are learning add & Subtract decimal numbers.

This week we are learning about place values and our Walt is Strengthening our knowledge in Place Value. Place Value is about value of each digit number. For this task i had to put the numbers in the ones, tens, thousands.

Then they buy three tennis balls. Each ball costs $3. How much do they have left? 421

Finally they buy a netball hoop which costs $100.  How much is left in the budget at the end? 321

Zyla’s puppy is growing every month. He used to weigh 5.6 kg but he now weighs 6.3. How much weight has he put on? 11.9

The cost of the vet visit is $65.50. How much money is left in Kalani’s wallet? 34.5

AJ is also at the vet with his rabbit. His rabbit has had expensive surgery. If AJ has 10.25 left in his bank account and he started with $525.80, how much did the surgery cost? 515.55

 This week we were writing a story Structure  about the story the wave and then we did a Quiz about the story. After that we had to rewrite the part where Paul goes into the water and caught up in the wave from the perspective of a lifeguard standing by?

Today I had to write about where to sit when you are in a google meet with your class and I think that you should sit behind the door because the colour of it is white and so that no one can see anything that is happening around the house and that you can be cyber smart of what you are doing online and on your chroembook.

Picnic Explanation

  Every year the whole of Point England school goes to the beach. It is good to have a picnic every year so that they can have fun and bond with others that they can enjoy with there friends. It is good to have a picnic every year so that you can be entertained with your family and friends. You can do different activities like ride bikes, play volleyball, touch, swim, play with sand, and play in the park with your friends. It is also good to have a picnic every year so that you can bond with others that you don’t know and you can meet different people that you don’t know and they can do different activities to have a friendship with each other. Another reason why it is to have a picnic every year is so that your family members get to meet your teachers and your friends. They can meet them by communicating with them and relate with other people in different ways. Point England school goes to the beach to have fun and do dissimilar activities. They can meet bonds with others that they don’t know and they can have fun together. Your family members can meet your teachers and friends and they can meet them by communicating and relating with others in different ways.

Home learning

I was reading a book called the girlhoods and it was about a girl named Clara and her life being upside down ever since a strange virus known as the YCV swept through the city affecting boys and men.  It's amazing how different boys' lives are. Girltopia is the first female-run city in the history of Girltopia.

I predict that in the next chapter Clara is going to be involved in the Girls hood group and is going to change everything and it's about the girls not wanting to have boys anywhere around them.
