No hea koe? Te Reo Maori

This weeks Te Reo Maori Task is about where you are from so No hea koe means in Maori where you are from so if someone asks you No hea koe then they are asking where you are from. for example if i ask Dwayne Johnson No hea koe then he will reply back No Samoa ahau. this weeks Walt is to Understand and Respond to questions about yourself. So my Walt for this week is all about responding to peoples questions about myself and about understanding to what people are asking you about yourself.

You did a great job in Te Reo class today practising the correct pronunciation of our key phrases for the lesson. You can confidently ask AND answer the question No hea koe? /Where are you from? I loved reading your conversation with Dwayne Johnson and found out that Samoa is a very important place to both of you!

    Ka kite,

Thank you for your Comment and yes I spent this time thinking about the conversation so I decided to find someone from the country Samoa but someone who is a famous person i was thinking to do the prime minister of Samoa but then when I typed up on google famous Samoan people it came up with Dwayne Johnson so that was how I got the idea.

      Thank You Ms Tapuke :)
