Writing,How to be a good friend

 Today I will be explaining to you how to be a good friend and how that looks like. Be honest because nobody wants to be friends with someone who lies. Being loyal is someone that doesn’t force you to do anything you don’t want to do. Being  a good friend is someone that encourages there friend to do the right thing or encourages there friend to never give up when something is hard for them.

Being a good friend is someone that is honest no one wants to be someone's friend when they don’t tell the truth about something. For example if something happens like if someone hits you and they did it on purpose then just tell your friends that you hit them don’t lie and say that you didn’t hit them because they won’t want to be your friend cause you just lied to them.

Being a good friend is being loyal. This means don’t force your friend  to do something there not comfortable with just because you're doing it. For example if you wanna go to play netball with your friends and they want to play rugby then just agree on which sport you guys wanna play and play that sport. 

Being a good friend is someone who encourages there friend. A great friend will remind you that you’re awesome, good friends don’t stop encouraging each other, even when you’ve accomplished your   goal they help you make it to the next goal. for example if your friend can’t make it to there goal then encourage them and tell them never give up because you are a champion no matter what.

This is how you could be a good friend, be honest to your friends and always tell them the truth and remember to respect the choices that your friends  make and encourage your friends to never give up when something is hard.

Today we had to watch a video and follow the instructions from the video then we had to make 3 different posters and the posters were about your chromebook and about how you could keep your chrome book safe.

Attitude Talk

Today Jana from attitudes came to talk to team five about who we are and she also talked to us about personalities, genes and choices. There are different kind of personalities and its Otter, the entertainer




Lion, the director Golden Retriever, the peacemaker




Beaver, the facilitator, Jana said that if you think you are none of these you just haven’t found which one you are for example try something new like a different sport and keep playing it then you will start getting comfortable and you will keep liking it.







I think that I am a beaver, the beaver is the facilitator and that is someone who is a hard worker. I think that I am a hard worker because I always finish my work and try my best to finish everything before I go to do anything.







On behalf of the whole of year 7 and 8 we would like to say thank you so much for coming in to talk to us about who we are and about our personality cause without you some of us wouldn’t understand our personality.

After the Fire

 

Today for literacy we had to read different parts of the story called after the fire then after that we had to answer the questions for the day like for example Monday says read page 2 and 3 and answer the questions.

Maths

 

This week we are learning how to use materials to help you work out the problems and for this task we had to learn our 3 to 6 multiplication & Division and we had to solve word problems. We had extra Multiplication & Division problems to answer after answering the 3 to 6 times and division problems. I think that it was kind of easy because it was easy to answer the times and division problems because it had the same answers.  

Nouns

 

Today I had to we are learning about the difference between common nouns and proper nouns. We had to highlight the words that are nouns in the sentence and we had to list different common nouns and we had to list different proper nouns.
