Recount about my trip to Samoa!!!!

On July 9th 2019 was the last day of school but I didn’t go to school because I went on a trip to Samoa for my family’s family reunion on the island of Samoa. Before the day that I went to Samoa we were so busy packing our bags for our reunion. When we left on the 9th I just felt sad for my friends and just didn’t wanna go to Samoa , when we got off the plane and went to Samoa air plane and I saw my uncle and saw my little cousin I asked her where is your her sister and she said I don’t know??? Then after that when we got to Samoa I was so excited again and I went and was saying hello to everyone and I was still feeling so excited to meet my cousins that just came around the world but when I met my cousins wife I just knew that the time that she came from Samoa was her first time I was so surprised that I knew that it was her first time.

After that at night we had our first day of our reunion it was a day that we had to met my cousins I was so excited and enjoyed meeting them and talking to them I felt like when I met them they were kind and they helped us. The next morning we woke up at 5.00 to make breakfast for all of us to eat for our reunion. In the morning we drank coke with our breakfast and I felt so weird drinking coke and having my breakfast too. The breakfast was eggs, toast, sausage and Samoan food. I actually enjoyed having breakfast and drinking some coke even though we weren't meant to, I was eating with my little favorite two cousins she said I like this different kinds of computations that we have because she said that was her first time having different kinds of consternation.

After that we played games the first that we played was try to untangle the hands then we had team lessgo and team wakanda forever. The next game was multisport the balls that we played touch and volleyball but we wanted to play tug of war but we didn’t have a rope to play the game with after that we had a break and my cousins went in there room and wrote some questions down for our teams to answer after that I came out and drank water and after my water finished I drank coke. After our break finished we went and tried to answer the questions but then team lessgo won I was in team wakander forever.

The next game was that we played was musical chairs and it was so funny that when we played I sat on the chair but then my cousin came and sat on me and I all of my cousins were laughing at her. After when the music stopped I tried to find a chair but I couldn’t so then I lost then there were 2 people left it was my cousins and there were one chair left it funny because when the music stopped they both tried to grab the chair then when the boy cousin grabbed the chair my cousin grabbed it off her and sat on it.

On the last day of our reunion we went to cave pool called Piula we went on a bus. When I went to go in the water I couldn’t reach because it was to deep as I just was staying down on the rocks there were fishes all over the place and there was a huge cave and we got to jump off the cave it was so deep that I felt scared and didn’t even want to look at my older cousins jumping off the cave.

After all of that trip to Samoa after when we came back I just felt so sad and wanted to  go back. 

I felt so happy and enjoyed times in Samoa . :) and :(

Habitat In The Rocky Shore

This Term we are learning about the rocky shore and the habitats in the rocky shore so today we did some writing about what habitat means and what kind of habitat does the animal from the rocky shore have.

Tell sentence: It was a cold and rainy day.




Show sentence: On a dark, freezing, frosty and muddy day I start to put warm beautiful colorful scarves and long and the weather was so disgusting as bad as I could imagine water dropping into my head feeling like I was dreaming about an angry person that got all muddy. The rain was dropping on my body and I













Tell sentence: I went to the beach.




Show sentence: I went to the beautiful beach to see the rocky shore. The water color was bright blue sea. The trees looked like it was falling on the light sandy sandy sand. The light sand went in between my toes and it spread all around my toes.

Tell sentence: Carol bought new shoes because hers broke.

Show sentence: Carol brought new cool shoes that were brand new. They were ripping it started to look as ugly as a pig looks like. The color of the shoe were looked painful because it was muddy and the laces looked terrible and made carol feel disappointed at her own shoes.

Year 5/6 camp

Last week from Wednesday to Friday, we had the year 5/6 camp at School. Before we went on camp we had to bring in our forms and payments for camp. The whole team had to practice our dance for our concert in the hall. camp is when you cooperating with our friends and working together as a team and Before camp we had to know who our teacher was.




On Wednesday the year 5 and 6 went on camp I felt so excited because it was my second time going on camp. On Wednesday and Thursday we did activities. Down at the Pt England School Field. I did Kayaking and killer zone and on Wednesday night we watched the movie Small Foot. When I went inside my tent it felt like it was rustling in the tents like there were flies.






I liked the Slip’n slide because Mr Somerville and Miss West kept on wetting me more then the others and then at the end I went and laid down where there were heaps of soap and layed down there. I got heaps of soap all on me then Mr Somerville and Miss West tried to get it of me. The soap go off me but then there was grass on we as well as the soap and then Mr Somerville and Miss West tried to spray the holes on each other. At the end I got all grassy and I felt very excited because I had heaps of fun with my friends. It was super slippery and it felt like it was a new experience to me and it was soapy and I kept on slipping and sliding on the slide.







I liked Mr Somervilles games because we kept on playing games and with cups and little ping pong balls and we were trying to bonces it in the cups to win the game but then I liked it because my team kept on winning and we got lots of sweet lollies. The game that I liked is how the other person in my team built the a castle then we had to blow up our balloon. Then you get to the table you had to let the air out to let the cup go on the floor but then we lost. But then we tried to tell Mr Somerville something but then he said guess what I don’t care because I am not a teacher and I felt so shocked because of how she said he didn’t care about he is not a teacher and it was loads of laughter that day when Mr Somerville said that.




I would like to say a huge thank you to parent helpers, securitys, teachers, leaders for your all your help. I would like to say a huge thank you to Mr Burt, teachers for making this camp happen and thank you helpers for making us happy and safe.




I learned to kaykay and have fun and work as a team and cooperate with others. I learned to have as much fun as you can so that you can have more fun and I learned to talk to something that has happened that is making you mad or sad and I wanted to relate with my friends it was a exciting fun experiences with my friends and that was my second time going camp with my year 5s.

Time Travell

If I were a time traveler I would go to Samoa because I want to see what happened when my mum was a little girl in Samoa and because I want to see what was in the world at that time. My other thing I would do would travel back when Miss Tia was a little girl in samoa and I want  to see how cute she was because she is my teacher.  Also I would travel  back when Miss Tuia, Miss Tia, Miss Shavian, Miss Tele’a and Miss llaoa  was at point England school because I was to see what they looked like and what sports they were in. The other thing is that I want to see all the Samoan teachers in the olden days and how the olden days worked in Samoa.


If I was a time traveller I would go to the olden days because I want to see how it was when I grow up and I want to see the wars that happened because there are people that are going to be men shooting each other. You can see people dying because there will be blood coming down on them and they will be not breathing and I want to go to the olden days and see the old dark cars. I would time travel to olden days because I want to see the thing that existed in the 90s and I wanted to see what happened in the world when it was the olden days and how the world looked like. The other reason why I would time travel there is because I want to see how people are acting to whether it is the same as how people were acting in the country and I would go and see how the technology was in the olden days.

The next place I would go to is future because there will be heaps of cool cars that fly up in the clouds to see the light blue color because all you can see is the clouds. I want a hover board because I don’t need to walk on the ground and I want a pool so we don’t have to drive there and pay for each other as well when I swim I could breathe underwater and look under the water and I could fly my house up in the sky so that I could see what is in the sky I wish that the things that were existing in the 90s can still exist right now. I wish that I could time travel to wonderland and stay there for 11 years and I wish that I could go to Samoa and live there for 12 years then next I will come back to New Zealand.


The next place I would go to is build a house for my family and the next place I would go is to find a job and when I find a job I would go and make robots, cars fly and make boat move by it self and  I wish I could build animals  and build things that still exist in the world.



The next place I would go to is time travel to the past because I want to see what happened in the past and because I want to see the memories of me and my family. I want to see the difference to the world to how the world is now. I want to see the difference movies to how the movies are right now and because I want to see how the world was like in the olden days to how it is now. I want to see the difference between the world in 1921 and 2019 and when it was 1921 it was the olden days but now when you look at the world there are different times when the world changes into getting older.

If I were a time traveller I would go to Samoa because I want to see what happened when my mum was a little girl in Samoa and because I want to see what was in the world that time  I want to go back in 2008 to see when Mia was born because I want to know what time she was born and what time I was born. My other thing I would do would travel back when Miss Tia was a little girl to see how cute she was because she is my teacher. And also I would traveller back when Miss Tuna, Miss Tia, and Miss Shavian was at point England school because I was to see what they looked like and what sports they were in.

Troll Story

One day there was houses and cars. Next there was a family that was going to  sleeping and the next morning they came outside and saw a scary monster and his name was Mr Goodwin that lived on the hill. One day  there was a girl that walked everyday up there but then when the girl walked up the hill on Tuesday she saw a monster that scared her she ran back home as fast as she can. After that the huge monster came along  to the troll and destroyed houses that were red,yellow and white then there was a light blue car that got destroyed from the monster Mr Godwin when he was walking there was fire on his head.

 Mr Godwin has huge green legs, was huge and tall, had green hair and the colors of the houses were red,yellow and white. When the troll steps it could  make the world go apart because it is heavy.  When he kept on stepping he kept on making the people shocked and when the people looked out of the window they got out of the house and ran as fast. He looked like he needed  help from the people.

 The people went to the shops to get some food  and the monster Mr Goodwin  wanted some food but no one give him some food and he sat  down then he cried for a long time. Next the people asked are you ok because you look so sad then the monster Mr Goodwin said yes can you give me some of your food and the people said are you a monster they said and the troll said no i'm just here because I want some more food but the people give him  food and the monster said you are a nice family and troll came  on the road and the troll want to talk to someone.

Next the  People didn’t   let him talk to someone and the people in the car was  drive pass underneath him and  the people were walking pass and ran  pass they didn’t look behind them there was a bad troll and they wanted  him to leave but the troll wants to have a feed for him and he had no food forever and when the people walked in the cafe  they had a cookie and coffee  and when the people went out of the cafe they went to the movies.  When they were at the movies they ate popcorn and  had a coca cola drinks and when they got out  of the movies  they went to the shop brought some food for the  next day.

 When it was the  next day they went back up the hill and had another picnic and asked the troll if they all can be best friends and the troll said yes. After that day they went home with the troll and was swimming at the pools then next they went and played like tag, hidden seek, elimination tag then they went to the beach and swam again then after that they went back to the park and played elimination tag  after all the time with the troll they let him sleep in the house.

What do I like mostly about New Zealand?

I like about New Zealand is that we got different kind of tip top ice cream and they are better then the other countries ice cream. I like about New Zealand is that they have nice pies but in Australia there pies are yuck they are different to our pies. But Australia they think that they have the best meat pie but no they don’t New Zealand has the best.I  like about New Zealand is that people can do different kinds of food that you can eat and in other places when you eat there food it is yuck. I like about New Zealand is that you can just walk to the beach because we are near it but in other countries they take along time to drive to. I like most about New Zealand is that they have parks that you can play for as long as you can but in other countries you only have little park. Also the other thing that I like about New Zealand is that they have a lot of technology everywhere in New Zealand. I like about New Zealand is that we have lots of places to stay and go have fun like living in a hotel and  swim in a hot pool. I like New Zealand because of Dunedin has lots of special places to walk around and swim in beaches. I like about New Zealand is that you can do adventure activities like going on an adventure to dunedin and live there and when you are at dunedin you can do some activates.

Kiwi Sport

Last week we were learn how to play cricket. Cricket has bat's and balls and also has wickets.there are three wickets. Cricket is a nice game because people can be a batter.On Thursday last week room six and Miss Tuia we down to the field to learn how to play cricket. Our couches were Charlie and Jessie and Benjamin. 

I learnt how to bowl and when you bowl you have to release the ball when it gets to your ear and we played non stop cricket with my class. You have to aim my bowl to the batter so that it can hit the bat.I learnt how to bat when you bat you have to put on hand and held the bat in the shape of a v. You have to wait until the ball comes back and when you hold the bat you have to do a v and you have to positioning of your feet.

I would like to say a huge thank you to our coaches Charlie, Jessie and Benjamin, for helping us learn how to play cricket it has been a Pleasure to have you here. I would like to say a huge thank you to Miss Va’afusuaga for making this happen.I learnt to bowl and bat. I would recommend it to others because it is a game that you can Cooperate with other.

If you would invite any famous person to dinner who would it be and why.

If I could invite any famous people who would it be to dinner and why? I would invite to dinner Joseph Parker, Toa Samoa because they are they are my favourite players. I want Joseph Parker to come over so that he can show me how good he is and show me how to box so that I can be good as him at boxing and so that I can learn new skill with him. I want Toa Samoa to come over to so that they can show me how to play rugby. So that I can be good as them and so that I can play when I get older in the team Toa Samoa and I want to learn new skills from them. I want to invite Miss Tuia because she is the best teacher and she is better then Mr Goodwin because she makes us laugh nearly everyday. I would invite Jacinda Ardern because she is the prime minister of New Zealand and I would like her to tell me interesting things about New Zealand.For dinner with my family I will invite Maria Folau because she is amazing at netball and also I am a big fan of Maria Folau .When dinner is over she can teach me some of her skills. So I can be better at netball and I have never met her and I really want to meet her because she is so good. What we will eat for dinner is pizza or maybe Samoan food or McDonald.
