Explanation

Being a good host is important in my family.  This is an opportunity to show your visitors your home and the way your family looks after each other.  I will explain three ways you can be a good host.Welcome your visitors into your home.  When you hear a knock at your door, open your door and welcome the guest into your home.   Make sure you sound happy so that your visitor can feel extended to and show you feel happy by showing a contented face talk and then farewell them all at your doorstep in my culture is rude.  While they will typically say no, it is good to practice to have someone in the family bring out a cup of tea, biscuits or anything light that would go with the cuppa tea.  If it is near a big meal time, welcome them to the table to share the meal with your family. When they finish having something light pack up what they ate from then come back and sit down and talk with the visitor it is good to do these thing because if you don’t then they will not ever want to come back to your house and talk to you so this is a acceptable house that you would always want to go to.When they finish having something light pack up what they ate from then come back and sit down and talk with the visitor it is good to do these thing because if you don’t then they will not ever want to come back to your house and talk to you so this is a acceptable house that you would always want to go to.

Miss Tele'a made us do another explanation writing, so we could get ready for our writing test next week! We had to write about being a good host! We have to teach the reader on how to be a good host. We could do that by offering food! Then I posted it on my blog for all of you to see!

Friendship

Friendship is important because Friends helps us deal with stress, make better lifestyle choices that keep us strong, and allow us to rebound from health issues and disease more quickly. Friendship is equally important to our mental health. One study even suggested spending time with positive friends actually changes our outlook for the better.
The friends we meet in school teach us how to be patient, wait our turn, reach out, and try new hobbies. When we move into young adulthood we learn more about taking responsibility, finding a career path, and seeking out people as mentors.

The people we bring into our lives as friends will show us how to forgive, laugh, and make conversation. The basic components of any relationship, from our marriage to our coworkers, are all founded in friendship. We learn how to interact with people because of our friends, even the ones that are opposite from us or share a different worldview.

We don’t just talk with others but learn from them. We understand the process of meeting new acquaintances and finding out what makes them tick. These people help push us out of our comfort zones while still providing a safe emotional space for us to be totally ourselves.
Friends are especially important during times of crisis and turbulence. If you find yourself going through a hard time, having a friend to help you through can make the transition easier.

Good friends help us to develop our self-esteem, says Belleghem. "Having someone in our life who thinks we are important -- someone who wants our opinion on things and who values our company -- makes us feel wanted, boosting self-esteem," she explains. Best friends will also be totally honest with us, Belleghem says.
Good friends are loyal and accept you for who you are during the good and bad times. Good friends are also honest — honest enough to tell you when you're not being a good friend yourself. ... Along with good friends who are present, loyal, and honest, most people want friends who are trustworthy.

explanation writing Mrs Tele'a

Rules are important so that you can be safe and happy. So that you don’t get hurt anywhere so follow the rules. The next paragraph I will be talking about safety and happiness.

Rules are important. For example if you dive in a pool you could seriously injury, that is why you need to take time to read any rules wherever you go. Being safe is listening to who ever is teaching you and whoever is telling you to stop you listen and do it so that you don’t get hit or have any serious injuries.

It is important to follow rules because when something happens to you and there is no one there you will need help and it is important that rules are good for you because if you follow it you can have a happy time wherever you are.

So remember follow the rules and take time to read it so that you can be happy and safe because if you don’t you will have serious damage anywhere around you so I am telling you now to read and follow the rules wherever you go and follow them anywhere you go. This will help you and do not dive in any kind of pool you go to.

I really like it when Mrs Tele’a can support me by explaining things  and asking if I understand because sometimes I don’t really understand. Ask questions to me so that you know that I understand and  the other thing that  Mrs Tele’a does for me to help me is to push me to read more and more and to also to not talk when I’m doing my work. My last thing is for Mrs Tele’a to push me to never give up and to help me sound out words and  Also to finish off my work and to stop talking to others well I’m doing my work and to search for new things so I can post more on my blog and show people that I am a  beautiful girl that is smart and  likes to learn new things and exploring new things around the world and not just around the world and around my future.

Is there anything else you would like Mrs Tele’a to know about you?
I would like Mrs Tele’a to know that I have only just learnt to swim. I am feeling…

Learning Time Tables

I am starting to learn my time tables and will be learning this for a whole term this year I am starting to get better at it.

Home Learning Wonder Book

I am still reading the book called Wonder because it has interested me this year. Chapter five is all about August who is going to meet the principal at the school Beecher prep his family went a few weeks before school started. August saw the principal named Mr Tushman standing there, waiting for August's family to arrive at the entrance in fact he went with to Mr. Tushman's office in fact he looked like a normal guy who is tall and thin and old but not really old. He seemed so nice he shook August's mum's hand. August's mum was introducing her own beautiful son to the principal it was so difficult and hard because it is hard when you meet new people that you don't know. They followed Mr. Tushman down a few hallways, there weren't a lot of people around the school and the few people who were there didn't seem to notice August at all. August met another teacher named Mrs Garcia she is a teacher here at my school. There were kids that came to Mr Tushman's office there names were Jack Will,Julian and Charlotte they looked s astonished and they didn't seem like they wanted to show August  around the school. But August finally got into a real school and will enjoy her actual school.  I predict that she is going to be in the room 301 and will actually success something and will have fun and have a good year and enjoy this year with new friends and his sister.

Home Learning. Wonder Book

The book that I am reading for my home learning this year is called Wonder. Chapter one is all about a girl that is named August  who is going to start fifth grade but she has never been to a real school ever. People always say that she doesn't go school because of her look but that is not the reason why she doesn't go to school and the actual reason why she doesn't go school is because she has had heaps of different surgeries and she has had 27 since she was born. The bigger surgeries start before she was  actual four year old witch was when August was still small. August  has had two or three surgeries every year since she was born but some are huge some are small, and because she is still  insufficient for the age August has other medical mysteries that the doctor never ever figured out,August use to get sick a lot. That is the reason why her parents thought that it was better for her to never ever go to school.  August is feeling way better energetic now, but now I might be going to school with her sister Via and she has always wanted to go with her sister Via to the same school because that wouldn't be the exact true. The reason why I wanted to go school was because I would make friends and hang out with them during class and after school.I predict that August's parents are going to take August to the school that her sister Via is going to and will actually have friends and meet the principle and will make it in to Via's school and have all her years with her friends.
