Compound,

The boy was playing but I was scared of the dog.

I wore my new shoes when I went to cut my hair yesterday.

My dad was sick because the milk was gross.

My shirt was pink because I painted my bedroom.

I ironed my clothes then I did the dishes.

This is the writing that Mrs Tele'a provided for us.

A compound sentence is when you join two sentences together using a conjunction.
The most common conjunctions are; and, although, because, but, if, or, thought, where, whether.
Conjunctions that indicate time are; before, until, since, when, whenever, while.
