  1. Kia ora Yolanda,

My name is Fiona and I'm from the Summer Learning Journey team. It is so awesome to see another one of your fantastic blogs this summer!

Great work completing the float your boat activity. Your first slide of your big labelled ship looks very impressive - ka pai!

I really want to view your video but unfortunately the access is restricted. You should have received an email requesting to give me permission to access the file you have uploaded in this post as I am not currently able to do so (and neither is anyone else visiting your blog).

Could you please grant me access? Thank you - I am really looking forward to watching your video!

    Mā te wā,
    Fiona (SLJ)

  3. Kia ora Yolanda,

Thanks for sharing your video! You have done an awesome job showing us how your boat floats in a sink of water. It looks like your boat floats really well! Did you try adding stones or other objects to it, to see how much weight it can hold? I wonder how much weight it can hold.

Did you see the Step it Up activity where you get to make a canoe and other types of boats and compare them? I think you would be great at it!

    Keep up the awesome work.

    Ka kite anō,
    Fiona (SLJ).
